Zetecs get a lot more respect in the UK, since Ford there has a much more rich sportscar/racing tradition. I'd love one of those.

Some guy around here has a Rotus...a Lotus Seven replica with a Rover V8 in it. It's amazing.

What kind of transmission do they use on these things.

My friend's Birkin uses a Ford Sierra 5-speed 'box . Works like a charm !
He's doing a LSD and lower gears this winter . That oughtta help get all that horsepower to the ground . It's really a monster - you'd never believe the power . If I only had some extra $$$ ...

IIRC , Rotus cars usually have a rotary motor in 'em . A cool car that way , but a v-8 would be cool fer sure !
