BINGO! I was going to ask why a person who wanted to listen to music would want a home theater system? Two channel is where it's at for music! I also would recommend a '70s or early '80s Marantz or Kenwood receiver and real wood enclosure speakers - not MDF nonsense. I use Pioneer CS-99a and CS-88a pairs in my living room powered by a Marantz 2285B receiver. Room shaking sound with no distortion. Look to ebay for these babies.  Karl
