First, Bose, in general doesn't make what I would consider even moderate quality speakers so rule them out completely.
When you are asking for small, how small exactly are you seeking? Give me approximate dimensions. My first thought would be some pre-fabbed PE .25 cu ft enclosures with a FR125S from
www.creativesound.ca in each. Small and very easy to make. Not sure how the budget works out.
