Of course we're going to mention brands we own. How could you make a personal recommendation for a product that you've never auditioned? If you don't trust my recommendation for the speakers I suggested "and I do own them" then go check out the multiple reviews that rave about them. I've recently owned some polks and klipsch models and in my opinion they didn't come close to the m&k's. Btw, good call on the bose. When I got tired of those little cubes, I blew them up for pure enjoyment.

i think his point is... don't say "buy polk, their stuff is great" when it all obviously isn't.

say "i bought this polk model abc and i loved it for these reasons".

it's akin to owning a vette and reccomending that everyone buy chevy since your vette is so sweet.

I should have clarified as M&K does have some lower end models as well and I haven't personally heard them. I have read some reviews on them and they were OK, nothing to brag about. Now the S, SS, MPS, and LCR series have had phenomenal reviews and I personally own some of the LCR series. I'm not sure what his budget is but the LCR's are not extremely expensive and in my opinion are certainly worth the money. I know that M&K's are only sold through authorized dealers or on ebay so many people are not familiar with them. If anyone else on here has heard them in person, please chime in as I'm curious to know what you thought.
