My 2nd most sought-after item. I have a feeling I would spend a lot of money on it, and then get tired of it after a week, so I have been able to resist using that philosophy.
I've at least got a PDA that will support the software and GPS bug, so I could get into one for well under $200 if I skipped the powered mount and Bluetooth, and even with a powered mount (with speaker that amplifies your PDA's sound) and a Bluetooth GPS bug, I'd probably spend about $250. So it's not unreasonably expensive if you've got a compatible PDA to start with, and when we move to a new town sometime this year, I'd definitely be using the heck out of it to find my (our) way around. And for that matter, it'd still be useful now for getting around DC.
Oh well, I've got a birthday in three weeks and if I don't get it then, I'll spring for it myself.

Back to more reasonable desires .. an iPod interface for my car's stock AUX-IN. It's either $15 in Radio Shack parts and much soldering on the main circuit board or a $99 someone-already-did-it-for-me part.
