We had a Motorvac in my high school auto shop...
We charged $10 to do it (cost of materials). Pretty cool, but all it cleans is from the injectors to the cylinder.
It's just the engine running of a mix of gas/cleanser.

That's not true though.
They changed the UIM design in 2000. It was a reworking of the EGR passages and the firt 2 major bends. There may also have been other changes.

Ahh but are the 2000 honed more than 98,99's? thats what we realy care about.
