Nice work Stazi. I did the same thing in my Camaro when I bought my Corbeau Forza seats about 4 years back. Works a hell of a lot better then spending $60+ on set of premade mounts that raise the seats up higher.
If anyone wants to do this it will only cost you about $8 total. You can pick the steel plate up at any hardware store as well as the fasteners. Line things up, drill some holes and bolt everything together. You could probably keep the power controls as well. I think its all built into the seat mount not the actually seat itself (minus the air pump for the bolsters and back support of course). You would just have to find a way to mount the switches.
