Just wondering if any of you have seen a cell phone charger that hooks up to a AA battery? I can't remember where I saw it advertised. It supposed to give a 2 hour charge and my battery is constantly dieing.

Invest the money you would spend on that on a new cell phone or battery.

Anyways, I think this is what you're referring to. A Google search for 'AA cell phone charger' brought this up.

new cell batteries are very cheap - less than 1/2 of that POS

I saw a cool thing at the airport. It was a disposable cell phone battery. It basically plugs into your charger port, and you can use it until it runs out. Sure, its not the most economical choice, but a great idea if you're in a pinch.

I've seen them in several CVS's around here, dunno if they'd be in any drugstore in your area. Like Zach said .. great if you need battery life in a pinch (for example, on vacation and the charger is packed away in depths of luggage) but not economical in any other situation. I can't imagine it retaining its battery life say if you stored it in the glovebox .. or especially for regular use if that's what you plan it for. For the money you sould definitely get a new battery for your phone.
