I consolidated when I got out of law school, got stuck with a frickin' 9% fixed rate. It's killing me but since I already consolidated once I'm screwed Scott

Good thing I'm so responsible and always throw away those "warning! federal interest rates are gonna go up, consolidate now!" letters

I'm in a tough situation.
I'm transferring to another college. So, do you guys think I should consolidate, or just send everything to my new school?
Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

thats awesome knowing that I'm gonna have to take out around $26K for the next 2 years.
As if college is not ungodly expensive enough you want to increase interest rates?

I think you have to graduate in order to consolidate, I may be wrong but thats my impression of the deal.

I had people calling me day and night asking to consolidate. I said no, because it would have me to begin payment NOW as opposed to 6 mos after graduating.
But transferring to one school to another is what I'm worried about.
