Once in 1998 or 1999, when my wife was driving the 'Tour, she was on a backroad in Georgia, on her way to work early one morning. A car in front of her hit a deer, and it basically flew over her as she was trying to stop and not hit the car, etc. Pretty crazy ! They can do a lot of damage. My father hit a deer in a rental car a few years ago, totalled the car. Luckily he bought the optional insurance-- just walked away !
