I just pulled the door strips off of my black 'Tour. Everything went fine until I ripped the front passenger side molding off. It looks like the door was repainted from the molding up and they masked it off around the strip.

Basically I have a long strip of rough, overspray-looking paint down the length of the door! eek BAD FORM! Just my luck, I suppose. I might be able to sand it out but I doubt it. I'll have to take the buffer to it later.

Anyone else had this happen? I knew the upper-half of the door was repainted, too! I've painted lots of doors and fenders using the same masking technique yet I still didn't think about it... I'm a bloomin idiot! :rolleyes:
