I hesitated doing mine for the longest. It was definitely worth it. You will be more conscious of where you park and how close other cars are to yours. They did help some when they were on but I still noticed little nicks where the strip didn't cover. Usually you can buff those out.

I just pulled my moldings off a couple hours ago. Be warned, my front passenger door was repainted above the strip, and there is a nice gritty overspray line down the whole door. I'll probably have to repaint it completely. Check for this before going to it.

BTW, this is not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Took me 45 mins total. If you don't want to tear your thumbs apart removing the adhesive, 3M sells a pinstripe removing wheel that attatches to a drill. It will take that adhesive right off without scratching. I didn't use one on my car, but I use them at work.

BEFORE DOING ANY REMOVAL SEE IF THE CAR HAS BEEN REPAINTED. IF NOT GO AT IT ALSO PAINT FADE DEPENDS ON COLOR. MINE IS MIDNIGHT RED 95. DAMN IT'S DARK. IT'S NOT TOO HARD TO RUN A BUFFER OVER THE SIDES OF THE CAR TO SHINE EVERYTHING UP.IF YOU CANT DO IT YOURSELF... EVERYONE KNOWS SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO RUN A WHEEL. GOOD LUCK.
