Everybody and their mom is sold out here, only place I can seem to get one is on eBay, but would rather not go that route.
Any reputable internet stores that have one in stock?

they just carry accessories, not the Nanos themselves.

I saw this same discussion on another forum I frequent.
The only place they were able to find them was at the Apple online store.

Try to go to the source It may be your best bet with overnight shipping(assuming its a christmas gift). Im affraid you may be to late to get one any other way

Apple stuff ships straight from the factory in China. Overnight would be a necessity if you order from them and you want it by Xmas.
The cool thing is they allow you to laser-enscribe your iPod (at least the standard ones, and I think the Nano too) which I think is a neat idea and a great way to personalize a Xmas gift.

And here's a hint: Buy it through the Apple store for education (on the Apple site). Just say you're a student, put in your zip (or one nearby that has a college), and select a school. Saves 10%, and they don't (and can't) check to see if you go there.

circuit city sells them here..I got mine like when it fiiirst came out..took me 3-4 weeks to get it..I got mine fom Apple direct..
