Yeah, WAY OLD, but still for those who didn't know...

Yep, the guy drove up the guy wire for the pole. When it got hung up, the dude jumped out and caught a bus. Engine ran until all the oil ran out.

And you would be suprised how much those cables can support... I mean, he got caught up on the comm cables.

I always hear this story about some lineman installing new conductors (more than likely ACSR) when they ended up getting a ton of resistance all of a sudden. They kept going till it was finished and went to sag the conductors. Ended up being a moose with his antlers caught in em. They hoisted him way off the ground (at least 15ft).

So yeah... a probly 1/0-4/0 conductor holding up a moose that almost weighs as much as our cars... then yeah, I could see a bunch of comm cables holding a car up!

Plus, if you look close, it looks like the left rear corner of the bumper is on the ground. Probably supporting some of the weight.

I'll put holes in him!!

It could easily hold up a car. There was a story in Seattle about 5 or 6 years ago where a small airplane (Cesna or the like) got caught in some wires and was suspended there for hours before it was removed.

Yeah sorry I haven't been on here in years. Anyways, everything has been good. The contour is long gone. Someone down in Miami bought my front custom front and rear bumpers. I still have corbeau seat brakets for sale. Alright so since everyone has seen this post already. I'll try and find something else to start!! haa!
