Yeah, I was just following the service guide, but my shift forks were so toasted by 25K miles from being so stiff that my shift cable snapped. It never shifted easy after that until I tore it apart and found the problem. Ever since then it's been just like butter, especially on REDLINE!
Shoulda gone with my gut and changed the trans fluid once a year.
I do now!
BTW So far, I'm loving this Torco RTF for shift feel.
