I was hoping someone could help me out here. I have a 1999 CSVT with 112,000 miles. The tranny seems like it has just gone to hell. Sometimes, it pops out of 2nd gear and grinds like crazy, the 3rd gear syncros are bad, and in 4th gear mostly, sometimes 3rd or 5th, the car will sometimes rev up alot, but doesn't accelerate anywhere. Maybe it's the clutch? I don't know what the problem is with this thing, i was just looking for some advice from people who know more than me about these cars.

SOunds like the tranny AND clutch is shot. Start by reading through the Transaxle section of the forums - you're not alone with this issue.

Is there any way of adjusting the clutch?

It is self-adjusting, I believe.
