That's been my experience as well. I put in MTL in Sep. '04. Initially, I was impressed with the shifter feel, but when it got cold, it was no better than the factory fill. I put in RP this Thanksgiving. We recently had some mornings in single-digit temps and shifting was still pretty smooth.
