That's another good quote, and I hadn't heard that one before.
I would also like to say that Canada doesn't need more troops, and that's a good thing. After all, they are playing it smart and not trying to be bullies to the rest of the world, unlike us. The US seems to have a tendency to do that, and I wish we'd get over ourselves. I'm disgusted when Bush calls the war in Iraq a victory. Victory? Why, because we only lost 2K or so people while we killed 30K of theirs so far? You people must have a different definition of victory than I do. Quite honestly, I'm hoping the democracy in Iraq will last. I'm hoping civil war doesn't break out after the war finally ends, and I hope peace comes soon so that the bloodshed over there ends. Realistically, I don't think that's going to happen. This is going to be a long, drawn-out conflict, and at the end of it all the terrorists will be hurt, but still very active, and even more pissed off at us.
As for people who seriously bash France, Canada, or other countries... I seriously doubt their intelligence, or at the least I attribute them with a lack of humanity. We make fun of countries that don't want to go to war, that don't want to cause trouble? What the hell is wrong with you Americans?
