OP machine CEG\'er M Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 50	alright, did uim cleaning and car ran fine,than took off throttle body and put cleaner on throttle body car startered roughly and than stalled.now every time i attempt to start all i get is grinding sound.i have checked battery.this is day 4 of this problem it turned over once on day 2 for 2 seconds, but has does nothing but grind ever since.please help

If you had the UIM off you should have cleaned the throttle body then. This way you don't get any cleaning fluid down the engine.

FavoriteMystaque Hard-core CEG\'er F Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,456	These forum discussions might give you some more info: starter starter2 The engine has to be separated from the trans to replace the flywheel gear. flywheel is a picture of the end of the engine, the big gear is the ring gear/flywheel. It could be the starter or its alignment too. If your car is a stick shift you could try to bump start (it won't), that would move the flywheel from its current bad spot, and try the starter again. If it works, you might need flywheel. Remove starter and take a look.
