swapped plugs and wires and all is good. Was probably a bad wire... but can a bad wire cause a plug to melt like that? Also I think I have a bit less torque down low (<2500RPM) but top end feels fine. I gapped my plugs at 0.050 and my old ones were 0.052. That wouldnt cause torque loss would it? Should the computer be reset after plug/wire change?
