good luck bernieYes the black ink does come off the paper, but does not show on glass! The ink is what actually makes a streak free shine. I just did my windows this morning with newspaper and a product called "Sprayway" glass cleaner. It also comes in an aerosol can. I bought it at a local glass supply store. Really great stuff!
