Dim? I find it hard to believe that she could just waltz into a police station with false credentials -- you really think that any Joe Schmoe can walk in and state they are from London and can have full run of a department in the states without someone verifying anything? All the detectives believed gave her access to questioning rooms, she got people brought in and saw all files.
we aren't that stupid and I doubt that a Police Department would be that stupid.. yes, its only a show but some stuff just does not make sense.
