Nah, you can't really buff powdercoat (really tough $hit!). And I didn't grind the castings on the parts. It kinda happened by mistake, I screwed up the first couple trys on the cam covers. Those bosses for the coil pack and etc caused a "faraday effect" which didn't allow the powder to evenly coat around them (dry spots) , so I had to recoat several times! All in all you're looking at about three coats of blue with one coat of clear. With all those coats I'm sure the original castings where filled in a bit, lol!!! The clear did help alot with the overall shine, much like a base/clear paint job only in powder coat!
