Very nice ! Good work ! I just did some painting on mine (I don't have an SVT)--don't have free access or $$ for powder coating. I thought I was getting a silver, and was then going to clear coat it (all high temp engine paint). But it turned out more dark gray, and it looks kind of like an SVT, which doesn't look bad, it just wasn't what I was going for. I will try again when the weather warms up a bit.
Good work !

I was thinking about the colored wires but, I'm not too hot on the colored wire harness covers. I might get the blue sparkplug leads though.
Yeah that vacuum line shattered into a thousand little pieces, it was like 10 below. As well as alot of other crappy plastics parts that are all over the engine, not cool. Thing about it is FORD doesn't even offer most of them any more, those vacuum lines are no longer offered. I can get the angled end that plugs into the upper intake but not the line, which is o.k. I can make one pretty easily!
I restore cars for a living and I just can't see anyone restoring these new cars later on, all the plastic on these things are gonna turn to crap. It's ridiculous! And the fact that FORD won't even support their own product with small replacement plastic parts, not good. They don't make them like they used to that's for sure but, I like driving em. Just not fixing em.
