For either type of WG you need a boost controller to change the boost from the preset amount. Manual boost controlers are pretty cheap and there are several out there that work quite well. Electronic boost controllers have a greater control over when and how, and how much boost you get, and are usually more accurate when it comes to measuring boost.
Quite possibly the best boost controller ever...you know I had to have it.
