You are pardoned. Regardless of how many holes it has - so long as one is marked (by CAT CAMS) as the 0° adjustment - then you're golden (the advance/retard amount would be easy to calculate = 360°/# of holes ). It's not going to be as easy as changing your oil - granted but it's easier than we first thought - i.e. no need for degree wheels and such.

As far as I can recall none of the holes are marked. Regardless as long as the holes don't cover 360° of the surface we are still fine as the center one should be 0°. For that answer you'll have to ask NVS SVT as he has them at his place.

We need a pic of the Cat Cam with that giant washer removed so we can seee the holes. Even if one isn't marked you can compare the orientaiton of the hole on the stock cam with the lobe position and then select the hole on the Cat cam that is in the same position.

Also we need a pic of a stock cam gear front and back. With that we could get an idea of how easy it is to get the timing marks correct.

Is it just the power wires or the entire harness? I'm sure you don't want to hear it now but I'm sure that was the source of your original stalling problem, and the engine failure was a unfortunate coincidence.
As for the cams let's talk in the new year.

Aaron if its only the power wires just replace them, I had the same problem and just replaced them after inspecting most of my harness to see that it was only the power wires...
I think its the battery acid that messes them up, mine were green and coroded
Replace them throw the battery in the trunk and get an optima

I will snap pics tomorrow night. Basically, if u were to pull the battery out and lift the fuse box, it's the wires going into the bottom of the fuse box and they go under the battery and connect to the positive battery terminal. It's the 6 red wires. Looks like there will be alot of splicing.Damn it I swear I'm not meant have an SVT . Evan I think this is what the cause of my car crappingout on me all the time was. Aaron
