From what I see here, the problem is not whether the CAT cams can be timed correctly (they can), but how simple/difficult it will be. The stock cam sprockets look to be pressed on the cams with a hydraulic press. Therefore, if you make a mistake when timing them, you'll need to press them off and start all over again. Not a simple job.
If they had been bolted on via multiple keyways, this would be much simpler.
