The Cool Blues use a filtering coating, while the APCs use an actual color tint. It's much more dramatic, but sorta annoying. :p
On a sidenote, removing the amber reflector in your headlight housing and replacing the signal bulbs with blue ones looks awesome with the other blue lights and will highlight your Cool Blues. That's what I did and I love it.
