I was *very* seriously considering the Elantra GT five-door hatchback myself when shopping for a car - the only detriments being a slow engine and a reportedly fast-wearing clutch (several reviews on carsurvey.org that mentioned this). They're good little cars, particularly newer ones. I would definitely support a Hyundai purchase. The Accent is a decent A->B commuter, although after my Probe GT I can say I will never buy a car without power locks/windows ever again.

Congrats on the new car .. if not a step up, at least it's a step forward .. you got a really good price for your old cars as well.

I don't understand the adjectives used in describing your car on CarDomain though, unless they're sarcasm .. "amazing 105 HP" .. "whopping 106 ft-lbs torque" .. "huge 14" wheels"?
