1998 contour 2.5L DOHC Duratec.

I am replacing the intake manifold gaskets, and now am putting it back together and I saw this vacuum line and it appears to either be broken or have slipped out of its connector. I need help asap in figuring out where this line goes, and what it is.

Thanks!!!

Anyone? It looks like it goes down towards the firewall. Maybe something to do with the HVAC system? I had a vac line come loose from the top of my Grand Prix and it was the line that controlled the vents changing modes, like defroster to floor to panel, etc.

Yea because that shows the other end of what the white vac. line connects to. WTF? My pics will be able to help you. Goes to the main vac. junction with the red vac. tubing.

What does this end connect to? And from what I can see in the picture, that yellow line plugs into the same terminal as the red line? So they BOTH go in the same hole, or no?

Thanks for the help guys.
