one step at a time.....
changed my plugs and gapped them to .035.......and the verdict......problem solved, at least for now.
If it starts up again, I'll swap to the OEM coil pack and wires.

I don't think I'd ever guess that .005" in spark plug gap would make that much difference. :kickmeinthehead:
