so who makes that 4 button knob. what do i search for? any brand name. its pretty cool. just need to check it out more.

if you like the cougar knob, check out www.customcougars.com James has lots of aftermarket stuff for the cougars...im pretty sure he has some stuff that would work for your 'Tours too...or try www.newcougar.org they have links to more shift knobs.

Bill's ones are real nice. If your keeping the lock out I would go for those! I wanted a short shifter so I cut mine down which got rid of the lockout. I got a Momo Short Knob. Here's pics'. All leather, feels great.   The one with the 4 buttons, there on Ebay ALL the time. They look kinda cheesy to me though IMHO.

taken from the mailing list today, for those interested in a textured voodoo shift knob. http://www.coldair.org/archives/0206/msg00109.html I have one, I highly recommend it. It's a spun and powdercoated aluminum ball mounted using OEM-style threads (no crappy set screws) and reverse lockout. Only downside is that it's uncomfortable at temperature extremes, but that goes away once the interior warms up/cools down.

I just had my local shop order a Sparco Globe X for my car. It works with the reverse lock out. Globe X

The shift knob is made by varad. It is called the racerboy,crutchfield sells them here.
