yes. Plain and simple yes.
Lotus is an engineering company, like the weisach (sp?) boys at porsche. They are contracted to do precision engineering by companies that dont have the ability to do so on their own.
The fact that john delorean used Lotus engineers to design his chassis is fairly well known, they were the premier british sports car engineers. He was trying to get government support and nede to keep the project as "close ot home" as possible inorder to recieve more money.
