Or factory teams for that matter.
Mitsubishi announced they are withdrawing from the program as well, along with Skoda, Citroen, Peugeot.
That leaves Ford and Subaru as the only two factory teams.
Dammit! All those friggin clowns at FIA make me sick.

WTF?   Ridiculous!  How can they possibly continue with two competitors? Maybe it's a planned coup to force a change from FIA?

And Subaru is coming back to the US & backing a team in the Rally America series in '06. Very strange. I thought things were ramping up again. Guess not.

The biggest shock to me was years ago when Toyota pulled out of the WRC to Focus on CART - what a great idea that was!

Saw yesterday that Skoda was bailing and started to post here about it. Then I thought, well JV don't come 'round no more so what is the point? Glad I'm wrong.
Since you're on the line now....going to Sebring?

Sebring is a possibility. If I can possibly even take a day off.
Already taking 16 days off in January to go party in Urup, and I've been with the company 4 months.
Actually, I'll be amazed if I don't get fired.
Anyway...
Yeah, FIA will be holding meeting sometime next week, might be in for some huge changes...

Well, the Red Bull Skoda team is made of up the majority of the '05 Factory team and has a larger budget then what Skoda could provide. I think you'll see good performance out of this team.
The '06 Citroen "Kronos" team is made up the majority of this years winning team and engineering and will be using all factory spec parts including tires. Even Guy Frequin(Sp?) is running it for next year. In '07 they will be back with a completely new car and team.
As for mitsubishi... what a shock. Thats all i got on that.

Considering Mitsubishi is in financial ruin- not really shocking that they are pulling out of racing. Still it's shocking to think that Mitsubishi is so screwed to start with.
