I still have the '96 Contour 2.5, 5-speed that I'm parting out. The problem is I don't know if it has a cable speedo or not.

I have a September 1994 build date '95 GL w/o tach,and it has the yellow tenth of a KM number on the trip odometer,so it's definetly got the part you're looking for,but if you want it,the catch is..... you gotta buy the whole car.

Well here's the info from more than one dealer/parts guy. Both the upper and lower are available it seems without a problem ... one place has the lower and both can order either. Is there a middle or just upper and lower?? The dealers only have upper and lower listed but the Hayes manual seems to state a mid section but maybe they just mean lower. The price is cheap for the lower but about $100 for the upper.
