Take out the hood liner and the wheather strip at the back of the engine bay too. they both just pop right out. Try not to break the hood liner when you remove it, it's a little brittle. The only real benefit is a little cooler under-hood temp...and 3 less lbs of weight. Now if you have a KKM intake like I do, it's more of a benefit 'cuz you can hear that sweet intake even more...
