As many of you know I have talked of making leather shift boots for our cars and now I am set up to begin selling them.

What I am offering are leather shift boots and e-brake boots in various colors that exactly mimic the design of the stock units to aid in ease of install. Also, we have designed versions for both pre-98 and post-98 consoles since they are quite different.

In regards to colors, we currently have stocked Black, Silver and Midnight Blue colored leathers, with the full intention of adding others if interest arises. For those of you with Midnight Blue interior, our leather is an EXACT color match with the OEM leather. At the bottom of this post you will see pics of the Midnight Blue pieces currently installed in my car, along with pics of the shift and e-brake boots in Black. Pics of silver will be coming shortly.

Most notable of our work has come through the development of a short-shift boot that fits the B&M shifter perfectly, removing the extra ?slack? material that is present in the stock length boot. Again pics of this boot can be seen at the bottom of this post. Currently, we will be offering the short-shift length in only post-98 models, but if sufficient interest is there for pre-98?s, then we will also create a short-shifter version for those years.

Below is a list of the various designs we offer including pricing:

- Post-98 Regular Length Shift Boot - $40
- Post-98 Short Shift Length Boot - $40
- Post-98 E-brake Boot - $30
- Pre-98 Regular Length Shift Boot - $40
- Pre-98 E-brake Boot - $30

These boots are constructed of the highest quality leather which is very thick and also stain and fade resistant. All sewing is done with 100% polyester thread to resist the rotting effect that leather can cause to regular cotton thread.

Custom thread colors can also be used and will be quoted upon request.

All boots come with highly detailed instructions that make installation a breeze.

Here a few pics of our work:

Realy realy nice!! Yeah I've gotta say, the shift boots with the BAT installed don't look nearly as good. Now all I need the a short shifter, although I haven't heard good things....

Here's a picture of the silver e-brake boot in my car. If I had an MTX i'd also have the shifter boot.

The manufacturing is VERY high quality and the leather is VERY nice. Very thick and VERY pliable. It's got the HPP stamp of approval! laugh
