well, maybe THAT connector would fit, but the one pep boys gave me looked just like that one, and it almost fit, but it didn't. eh, w/e, I'll probably give bill J a call sometime today and go ahead and order it, I'm tired of my idle dropping to 200 and surging back up at stoplights in the cold

Not sure if this is relevant, but:

When I installed the NAPA IAC on my 97 Contour V6, the sucker howled like a wounded elephant. So I cleaned and reinstalled the old one, and now I have the pos NAPA IAC laying on a shelf in my garage. (The bastards wouldn't take it back.) FWIW.

Stay with OEM, I heard of that problem before. The wrong IAC brings the moose back! They must not test the parts, or it works in the Taurus...

Yeah, and I HATE NAPA. They suck.
