And why can't he drive for crap? Seems like he just had the slower car. You know, some people do mod their cars to be faster than others.

I'd take scott's word on this simply because I know his trophy case and his driving skills. I don't think the fact that the subie beating the stang had anything to do with it.

I was saying that I don't think it had any bearing on his opinion on the pilot being a sh!tty driver.

Thats what I was thinking too, "it is what it is!" While watching that video though, some parts of the track the Scobie just got further and further away, amazing BTW, I felt like I was playing GT3 watching that

I thought both drivers were doing a very good job.
They passed slower cars very clean. Maintained thier lines.
I figure the suby should have stayed more inside, but we don't have enough info to say hey was a crappy driver.
1 to many races with those tires?

Okay I guess my statement appeared axhaggerated. My comment is simply that to have such a nice car with so much money obviously spent on it, you would think the driver would have more training. He was not hitting nearly any of his apexes, and he was not very smooth. Quote:

Just because a guy is in second doesn't mean he's a sucy driver. 2nd place driver could be driving a 8th place car, you never know.
The mustang was taking FAR better lines through the corners too . . .
agreed. he knew where to put his car for a good turn. he was also better with the braking, which is where he really would catch up to the subie
