I had to replace my pump after getting my car back from the stealership, mechanic broke my the little pump and I didnt notice until weeks later, and figured I'd have a chance in hell in making a claim.
New Ford OEM pump is like 25-35$ from my local dealership while generic autozone one was 10-15$ thinking 13 or so if I rememeber.
I was poor so bought generic, but it comes with 2 bare wires instead of the appropriate male/female plug whatever it was. So all I'm saying is for convenience/security sake go with OEM, if ya wanna cheap out you can, but I wound up mashing the broken unit with a hammer and salvaging the old connectors in order to solder/electrical tape it all together to preserve the OEM connecter.
