its called a Torque Strut and I believe all FWD cars have them.

No they don't. Unless they are from GM. GM uses them like crazy to control the engine from rocking because they use ultra soft engine mounts to reduce NVH. It's a decent compromise but I'd rather have a more solid set of mounts AND a strut.
