Its a bobble strut, and yes there are aftermarket ones available.. universal ones, just find one that will work.

No - with the Poly RR's the stab-o-crap is rendered useless.

The poly'd roll resistors (as by pole 120) are the best way to go, but there was also a solid torque strut made by Performance Fords they called a "street link" that replaced and improved over the stock csvt stab-o-shock.

Just to clarify PF made two versions:

"Street link"

Spherical end link one end, poly bushing on the other.

"Track link"

Two spherical end links.

Wasn't someone also making a reinforced/braced rear roll restrictor mount/bracket?

Pole120 you dope!

Furthermore I would not be installing a SOLID link between my subframe and aluminum cased trans with that POS torque-link-whatchamacallit - talk about asking for trouble - plus the vibration would be ridiculous.

All you need is one of Pole's poly roll resistors, maybe two if you're adventurous - NO NEED FOR ANYTHING ELSE - END OF STORY!

Thanks Stazi.

Did you ever get a chance to try out the poly LCA's?

I will be installing them when I do my engine beef-up. No need right now as the car is up for the winter and will only be getting torn-down anyway.
