The new Blizzaks finally came in yesterday and I slapped them on the SAAB last night. I ended up takinf the Explorer to work today anyway. It was an interesting drive. Rte 3A closed 3 cars ahead of me; must have been a bad accident! I couldn't see as they blocked off the road a ways back. So I had to turn around and take Rte 3 through Hooksett. Traffic was insane, and a car sliding off the road didn't help. Finally got on to N River Rd and cars couldn't make it up the hill. Further down a Subaru Impreza was of the road! And the car in front of me(Honda CRV) slid off into the curb twice. The normal 25min commute took 1h 10min. Not a fun drive!
The Explorer handled great though!
