Christ that looks good. Blows the new Mustang away in terms of looks!

You can't be serious.

It looks gaudy and unplanned. However, I'm sure I'd like the production version much better.

The new challenger concept blows every new retro style car away.

... and here I think the Challenger lacks integration, proportion, and flow... the three critical aspects of tasteful automotive design. It has attitude, but no sense of style.

Chrysler has way too many people who should just build a time machine and go back to the LBJ administration instead of inflicting it on us here.

Naw, you're just crazy. It looks a good bit like the old ones but looks very new at the same time. It flows perfectly. And the proportion is great, just look at how the front and rear don't fight with each other for attention.

i love it! except for the pointy mirrors. i think that retro design will finally bring in the sales GM desperately needs. that's got styling cues from the most popular camaro yet with modern appeal. and you know theyll put a killer powerplant under the hood!

if this will be at the LA auto show, im goin for sure! i think thatll look sweet in a vert too.

Ford did it. Chevy has done it many time s before, and Chrysler concept cars have a nasty tendency to b ecome real w hen enough pres sure is applied...

Or not.

Your point is not well taken nor understood. THAT Charger was made entirely by Chrysler, whereas the production model was co-produced with MB. Besides, look at the 300. Almost identical to ITS concept car. Same goes for VIPER, THE K-CARS, CROSSFIRE, PACIFICA, PT CRUISER, PROWLER, NEON.... the list goes on and on and on and on....

Oh and let's not forget this one...

The Camaro may not look exactly like that, but it will exist, and with (I guarantee it) a top-model containing a 427 in its bowels. I think Mustang is screwed, style-wise, but it is cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for.

Completely agree.

Late model Camaros are the only ones I ever liked. Taking design cues from early models and slapping them into new bodystyles is a horrible idea. You don't take aged designs that were limited technologically/aesthetically and build something new out of it; unless it's going to work better this time around. Example, if the Navy wanted to build a wooden schooner for stealth purposes, it better damn work. But I'm sure everyone would criticize it because it's such an old idea. That's how I feel here; I feel they aren't going to make this car right so why bother?

Aside from my crits, I do like the front end shape. if they cleaned up the lower doors a bit and went with the stylized foglights.. I'd like it more.
