Apparently those pics were posted on an F-Body site, and GM asked the mods to take them down. There's a hole thread about it over at VWVortex.
Personally I must be getting old, because I now prefer the understatement of the GTO over the somewhat juvenile ponycar look of this concept and the Mustang.

I have to say, thay while the dodge and chevy cars do have retro styling cues, so far they also look more modern at the same time. The new challenger and the camaro posted here look kinda futuristic to me, while still retaining the classic styling. I like everything I see so far. I really hope they don't uglify the production model at the last second.

gee that's a huge shock of a comment from you...as i seem to remember how every mustang thread awhile back had some sort of comment from you about how much you hate the new mustang...
as far as that camaro concept goes,it looks ok,i don't really like how pointy the front is,but the rest of it looks ok...
but the thing i think i like about the new stang better is that it has some styling cues from the 99-04's it replaced,and the classic styling..looks like the next logical progression of the cars styling imo...

Heh. That's pretty funny coming from you. I would have never seen that one coming...
I think that car is gorgeous. Ditto for the Challenger concept. These new cars look mean! I bet the clay model was given the two bumpers to see which one people liked better...
I can't wait! And for all you people that say, "oh! those concept cars will never look ANYTHING like the production model!" should really take in a dose of reality. Does this one strike a chord?

Ford did it. Chevy has done it many time s before, and Chrysler concept cars have a nasty tendency to b ecome real w hen enough pres sure is applied...
