Labor cost sucks. When my timing belt went out. I was about 3 hrs from home so I had to take the tour to a shop. It cost me $800 for timing belt and water pump replacement. They said their book called for 12hrs of labor. This was at about noon. They said that if I was willing to wait they could have the car to me by 5pm. So no matter how long they take to do it they charge 12 hours labor
. So glad to have 2 cars now so if anything goes wrong.I'm only out parts cost. I can do the labor myself.
