Hey guys, is there any concern that these will stiffen the car too much, and in the case of a rear-end collision, it will reduce the effectiveness of the 'torque areas' or crumple zones that are meant to absorb the impact in a collision?

i don't have an asnwer to your question but I sure as hell hope they didn't engineer crumple zone in the middle or cabin area of the vehicle

and if this would make the cabin area stiffer and resist crumpling that would be a good thing in my book

I believe the crumple zones are located in the engine bay and trunk areas of the vehicle as I would believe it is the goal to keep the cabin area as intact as possible thus increasing the chance of survival in an acciedent
