i've done some research on this for real estate investing: on average, gay individuals and gay couples have more expendable income than straight ones do. i imagine this translates into car purchases as well.

i think it's a bonehead move by Ford, personally. If the KKK wanted them to stop advertising in Hispanic Magazine or Ebony, should they? the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. it's the same for the G-L-B community.

just because something doesn't match your beliefs doesn't mean you should push your beliefs on other people. by Ford doing this, they are saying one side is right and one side is wrong. it's not only a bad PR move, it's bad business practice. now every special interest will be knocking their doors down to influence their business.
