The needle's probably sticking against the dials. Either make sure the dials are held down well, or pull the needle up a little (carefully) to give it some clearance.

They'll only be sluggish if they rub on the new guages.
I used a little dab of superglue around the edge's to hold it down. Works great, although I did have to pull up on the tach just a little.
Don't they look great at night? especially the blue. beautiful, simply beautiful

Brad Noon suggested tape around the edge's just in case they need to come off.
I used superglue cause after screwing up models for the last ten years, i thought i might have finally learned something.

Yeah, just be gentle with the glue
Good luck
Mike

I know when I get my "rev #2" indiglos I am removing the stock faces to make sure this doesn't happen. Maybe pull the tach needle out a mm or so?
