Lucas engine oil additive is nasty stuff. Tore apart an old truck motor that had that [censored] put in at every oil change and every component inside the engine was coated in a burnt layer of plastic goo.
After letting the pushrods and rocker arms soak for 2 WEEKS, they were still coated in the goo. Wound up replacing or reworking every single component in that engine (except the rockers)and having to get a whole new block (cracks in two cylinders). To this day the rockers are still coated in that goo.
Anyway, my advice is to steer clear of Lucas' engine treatment.
